DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The room hotels that has just been left may be unusual, but not for Julia Dini, These free spaces are an opportunity to explore the effects that guests leave behind after spending a night in a hotel, through their photographic series “Left Behind” (or what is left behind).
This is what the guests leave behind in their Room Hotels
“I’m an emotional person, so I am attracted to subjects that have to do with the concept of memories and being,” Dini says.
Denny was able to persuade some of the best room hotels in Milan, such as Principe de Savoia, Lagar, and Straf, to allow her to enter her wings in the early hours of the morning of room hotels, immediately after the guests leave.
“I wanted to show that every guest leaves behind something unique and intimate, Dini says, always put things in their place. I put the waste in the garbage basket.
” Denny put the bed as a central hub for her portraits,In the beginning, it may be difficult to see any difference, but when you look into the picture, unique details such as a “fingerprint” appear showing which side of the bed the guest used to sleep, and a bedside lamp left open.
You will also see cushions that may be lying on the ground, or even stacked carefully on top of each other. Much of the information can be deduced from these details.
It is clear that some guests have left on a hurry, while others have devoted enough time to have breakfast in their comfortable cushions.
“I want to visit other cities to find out if there is a difference in the behavior of people in hotels around the world,” she said
